Tuscarora Mill is a leader in the buy local movement and has been involved with local producers since 1986.

Today, in season, menu decisions are often driven by what local farmers are harvesting that day. Twice a year we host local farmer events to help us work even more closely with local growers.

Today it is not uncommon to find local lamb, cheese, eggs, beef, chicken, sausage, and all kinds of picked that day produce on our menus.

The Tuskie’s family of restaurants are getting Greener all the time. We strive to increase water efficiency by employing reduced flow faucets and are currently acquiring our first certified green dishwasher.

We run a robust recycling program, and are engaged in efforts to cut excess waste in all aspects of our operations. We use Sustainable Foods products on all of our menus with an emphasis buying local whenever possible.
